"I ordered Tonkatsu and Rice separately since they dont have set meal for rice. (But they have Rice, Side and Ramen set which is too much for one pax) I love how the taste is, its authentic, crispy and juicy. it comes with 3 different types of add on flavor (Yakumi) which tastes authentic too. Satisfied with the food but hope they increase the volume of rice and make set with rice and side only"

"One of the best ramens I've tried in the Philippines. My order in this picture was the kara-miso ramen (a bit spicy). For 600php, I got this set plus 1 small scoop of matcha ice cream. What I didn't like about the food was the very small portion of rice. I went here with friends on a Sunday afternoon and we had to wait about 5-10 minutes to be seated. It's humid and hot in the area. I can't feel the airconditioning that is why I'm rating the atmosphere as only 3 stars."

"Went here because an influencer put this on their top 3 ramen places in Metro Manila. The broth was not too heavy, the blend of flavors was alright. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Servers were very attentive and friendly, one of the most polite servers I've had the pleasure of interacting with. What puts a wet blanket over the experience was the flimsiness of the table. They seem to be picnic tables meant for the outdoors, what with being constructed primarily with plastic material. When initially placing the heavy bowl or your personal stuff on the surface, the stuff will bounce. Not ideal Overall though, we still enjoyed the experience. I recommend the Shio ramen. The evenness of the flavors allows for each element to complement one another optimally which one overpowering the rest"

"I usually bring my furbabies with me when I go to UP town Center so I choose pet friendly restaurants that have a nice, comfortable dining areas for pet parents. The detached Santouka branch in this mall has an enclosed outside dining space with a ceiling fan which I looked cool and inviting. And I thought, the weather is not so warm, it would be nice to outside the air-conditioned malls of UPtown Center. The ceiling fan freaked out my furbaby and bit so there was barking. I had to introduce the moving fan to him and he eventually calmed down. The person who attended to us was very nice. I ordered from the Santouka set menu and got a small ramen and pork cutlet. It was quite a surprise when my order arrived. It had the tonkatsu, rice, a bowl of vegetables and the ramen. The ramen bowl was bigger than I expected. I decided to just bring home the tonkatsu and tackle the ramen this time. It was flavorful and the noodles were chewy. I tasted the pork, it was fried well and the meat was still tender. I also got a scoop of matcha ice cream. This set meal was a good deal. My daughter ordered a tsukemen which she enjoyed and she also tried the hane-tsuki gyoza which is offered only at limited hours in the afternoon. A hane-tsuki gyoza is pan fried and it has those crispy wings attached to it. She really enjoyed that. Aside from some kids and a cat who triggered my dog, the meal went well. It was a pleasant and affordable meal. I will bring my sons next time."

"Went here with my bestie during a lunch rush service and managed to get a table. It was my first time trying their food here, and I got the miso ramen with tamago, unagi tamago roll, and a matcha shake. The ramen was really filling and the soup really hit the spot Had really tender meat too, I think it was char siu! It was my first time having unagi too, so ordering the unagi roll was a pleasant experience, though the eel was a bit on the lesser side. Matcha shake was a little too sweet for my taste, but it helped balance the savory and richness of the meal. Service was fine, the waitstaff handling our orders and service was attentive. :) Atmosphere wise, it was a little cramped even if the restauruant itself was on the bigger side. Granted, it was lunch rush and big groups of people were coming in at a time, but it was a bit difficult to move around. Overall, it was a nice experience."

"We used to frequent their Glorietta branch pre-pandemic, and we always enjoyed their set menus. When we spotted their UP Town Center branch, we figured it was a good time to revisit an old favorite. They’re still good, and their ramen is still competent, but we felt a noticeable dip in quality — and in overall enjoyment. Maybe it’s because we’ve tried other great ramen spots over the years (Nagi, Ippudo, Ajisen, Ramen Wave, plus Ippudo Kyoto and Ichiran Tokyo), so our standards have gone up. Compared to those, Santouka’s ramen now feels a bit underwhelming. We also felt like the portions have gotten smaller. That said, their service remains warm and efficient, just like we remember from before. Overall, the ramen is still good, just not in our family’s top three anymore."

"This Japanese ramen shop offers different types of ramen. Recently they now have Tsukemen, a dipping type of ramen where you dip the noodles in a much thicker and richer broth. They also offer sushi and some rice bowls for those who might not feel like eating ramen during their visit. They have English on their menu and they accept cash, and local and foreign credit cards as a mode of payment."

"Various sets / foods to choose from. Portions are generous enough to satisfy one's cravings. Ramen is tasty ( not salty nor heavy ) Tonkatsu is juicy, delicious and doesn't look like fried from an overused oil. Clean and spacious. Tables and chairs are well-arranged ( don't look cramped ). Great music in the background (jazz) that complements the interior (cozy). I didn't feel the need to rush eating unlike in other Japanese restaurants nearby. Finally, the staff.... I always feel impressed by those who remain assistive and polite despite the number of customers. Definitely, they are!"
